Steve Perryman

Steve is a highly experienced and successful football, winning a championship in Japan with Shimizu S Pulse, after roles with Tottenham Hotspurs, Watford and Brentford.

After returning from Japan, Steve became Director of Football at Exeter City, where working with manager Paul Tisdale, he helped the club achieve their best ever league success.

Steve has a reputation for nurtured and managing talent, both as a manager and during his glittering playing career, where he was the captain of a hugely successful Spurs team that included some of the most talented players of the generation. Including Glenn Hoddle, Ossie Ardiles and Ray Clemence.

During a 17 year career at Spurs, Steve played 866 games, a club record, winning the UEFA, FA and League cups and an England cap in 1982, when he was also voted​ the Football Writers player of the year.
